CASTING CALL - THE DISTILLERY

We are two Concordia filmmakers in search of actors for our final film project. We will need you to be available on the 4th and 8th of February. Because of our limited budget, the only recompense we can offer is good food, good company, a copy of the DVD, and an experience to add to your CV.

The film is about:
A sickly boy, Ian, explores his father's basement workshop. He finds a photo album labeled “Ian: Age 1 to 5". Expecting photos of himself from infancy to early youth, instead he discovers the key to his own bizarre origin. Shortly after, another discovery opens up even more profound implications.

We are looking for:

CATHY
Cathy is a white, middle-aged woman (somewhere between 35-55). She has coarse rough hands, but an elegant way of holding her composure in stressful situations. She is not concerned with how she appears in front of her husband (and nor is he completely), her favored wardrobe is a sweater and house-pants. Her thin, wiry frame is accompanied by her strong face, which is kept in place by a pair of glasses. She loves her husband. She never can feel totally comfortable with her life.

From there, we will set up an audition time for you on either the 14th or 16th of January. We will send you sides a few days prior to your audition for you to prepare. Please do not hesitate to submit your CV and headshot even if you feel that you do not fit the physical description of the character perfectly.
